Through our virtual and on-campus tours, events, and one-on-one meetings, you can learn more about becoming a Laker, discover the many academic areas of study and experiences we provide and connect with an admissions representative who will help answer all of your questions.

Campus tours and visits are available to be scheduled on the following dates and times:
Please schedule your visit at least 3 days in advance to ensure availability of the times/dates you wishing to attend. If you are feeling ill leading up to your appointment, we kindly ask you reschedule your appointment.
To schedule a group tour, please email admissions@lakelandcollege.edu and an Admissions Representative will reach out to you within the next business day.
Discover all that Lake Land College has to offer at Laker Visit Day! At this event, prospective students will get to tour campus with a student ambassador, meet with faculty to discuss their program interests, and learn about the various resources available at Lake Land College. Parents and guardians are also welcome to attend, as a session will be offered for them, too! Laker Visit Day takes place from 9 a.m. – noon, with check-in from 8:30 a.m. – 9 a.m. in the Luther Student Center lobby.

Brittany Aitken currently works with our adult student population and can assist them with the admissions process.
Brittany is a 2007 alum of Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Business with a focus on Fashion Merchandising. During her time at EIU, Brittany was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority and served as the VP of Scholarship her senior year. She was also a member of EIU’s Pink Panthers dance team and served as captain her junior and senior years. Brittany resides in Mattoon with her husband, Will, and daughters, Vera and Lola. During her free time, she enjoys remodeling historical homes, baking, kayaking and traveling to anywhere with a beach!

Denver Daniels is the Coordinator of International Studies and Lake Land College. They work with all current international students on campus and assists potential students with the admissions process.
Denver is a 2020 alum of Eastern Illinois University with a Master of Science in College Student Affairs. They worked as a graduate assistant at EIU for the duration of their master’s program in the Office of International Students and Scholars. They also worked as the assistant to the Director of International Studies at Lake Land College during their undergraduate career. Denver enjoys traveling, reading, podcasts, and meeting people from all over the world!
