The Lake Land College Student Government Association (SGA) is the official group representing the students of Lake Land College. It is a student elected governing board consisting of 8 freshmen and 9 sophomores. Freshmen are elected in the fall semester of the year they will serve, while sophomore positions are elected in the spring semester preceding their term of office the following year. The SGA represents the students in matters of student welfare and activities, college planning and administration, and student opinion. The SGA reviews requests for recognition of student clubs and provides community service, such as blood drives. Student Government Association meetings are open to any student at Lake Land College.
The Lake Land College Student Government Association needs people to represent the students or give an insight into the running of the College. Learn firsthand about the governing of the institution. Only with your help can we make Lake Land College a better place for all students.
Students with concerns they wish to share with the SGA can reach them at studentlife@lakelandcollege.edu or via the Student Concerns Form.
