As an HVACR student, you can work to become a technician, mechanic or an installer working on heating, ventilation and air conditioning and refrigeration systems that control the temperature and air quality in a variety of buildings. You can also work in homes, public institutions (such as schools or hospitals) or factories.
According to the national Bureau of Labor Statistics, demand for heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration employees is expected to grow by 14 percent through 2024. (Source: bls.gov)
