Get a head start on your electronics career with the Electronic Control Technician Program! This one year certificate program combines theory and hands-on training with state-of-the-art instruments, working processes and computerized control systems. You will learn to use test equipment, calibrate and maintain instruments, and program Industrial PC’s. You can gain real-life experience working on cabling and fiber optics, analog and digital electronics, computers, data communication and basic routing skills.
As a student in the Electronic Control Technician program, you can expect to work closely with electrical and mechanical engineers. Electronic Control Technicians may work in a variety of industrial environments including energy, plastics, computer and communications equipment and manufacturing.
