The Associate Degree in Nurse program is for those interested in becoming an RN or Registered Nurse. As an RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of medical settings: hospitals, surgery/outpatient clinics, long-term care, home health, public health departments, schools and physician offices.
Graduates make the same entry salary as a bachelor’s degree (BSN) graduate, and can take the licensing exam and work one year sooner than BSN counterparts. Many employers assist graduates in paying to continue their education. Lake Land College has agreements with several universities to complete the BSN degree 100% online.
Upon completion, you will be eligible to apply for the RN licensing exam (NCLEX-RN).
