Help your community first hand through the Emergency Services Program. This program is designed for you to earn stackable credits and certificates. You can secure a job and continue working toward your next educational goal.This course is a CAAHEP and CoAEMSP accredited program that will prepare you to be an entry level EMT-Paramedic. You will learn the advanced skill needed to treat patients in emergency situations. This program includes general education classes as well as the core paramedic courses to help the student become a well-rounded paramedic and be more competitive for jobs and promotions.
Once you’ve successfully completed the program, you will be eligible to take the National Registry of EMT’s cognitive and psychomotor examinations.
You will be prepared for career opportunities in the field of medical services to include urban and rural ambulance services and/or fire departments, industrial settings and clinical settings.
Developed over a number of years, the Lake Land College Emergency Medical Services Program is one of the most comprehensive and up-to-date programs in Illinois. Pass rates for the last 4 years have exceeded state and national averages.
