The plan will also focus on institutional and employee excellence.
Fiscal Year 2022 Environmental Scan
To transition to the next strategic planning cycle and develop the appropriate focus areas, goals and objectives which are detailed in the FY 2023-2027 Strategic Plan Matrix, the College implemented a process that was deliberately inclusive of the College’s internal and external stakeholders including students, staff, and multiple community groups. In October and November of 2021, Lake Land College disseminated a survey completed by 715 internal and external stakeholders (e.g. staff, students, K-12 leaders, community partners, business and industry, etc.) and facilitated 48 focus group sessions. These data collection efforts provided feedback on how well Lake Land is positioned to meet the district’s changing educational needs and challenges facing higher education as summarized in the Trend Analysis Report and related Executive Summary. The results of the survey are presented in the Strategic Plan Survey Report including a summary of the responses to the open ended questions. The Focus Group Summary Analysis provides an overview of the common themes identified by focus group participants. All unedited responses to open ended questions on the survey and ideas, recommendations, and suggestions from the focus groups are provided internally to staff on a shared drive. Thank you to our students, staff and community partners who completed the survey and participated in one or more focus group sessions!
