Lake Land College partners with Parchment, a third party service, to provide official student transcripts. This service provides an easy, secure, electronic method to request, send, and track your transcript. Parchment will deliver your official transcript for free anywhere it needs to go – other colleges and universities, scholarship funds, employers, or even yourself if you need it.

When you are “Selecting Destinations”, choose the “Myself” Tab. The system defaults to Academic Destinations.
When you first login, the default is to request a transcript. Choose the Status/History (next to Request Transcripts). This will let you see where your requests are in the process. You can also check your email for status updates.
When you choose your first recipient, you can either “Save & Continue” or “Save & Add Another” to add multiple recipients.
As official records, transcripts are issued only with the legal name under which your records are currently held. To change the legal name on your transcript and other student records, a copy of one of the following documents verifying your current legal name must be submitted by mail or fax at the time of the transcript request:
Transcripts may be withheld in accordance with Illinois law, including Public Act 102-0998 and Public Act 103-0054. The College will provide an official transcript to a current or former student, even if the current or former student owes a debt, if the student requests the official transcript to:
Additionally, the College will not condition the provision of an official transcript to a current or potential employer of a student or former student on the payment of a debt.
If a current or former student believes they qualify for the transcript withholding exceptions, they should submit a request via the College’s online transcript request form and indicate which exception(s) apply. Please refer to Board Policy 10.29 for more information.
