Lake Land College is centrally located in Illinois. The college campus is approximately 150 miles south of Chicago, Illinois; 125 miles northeast of St. Louis, Missouri; and about 100 miles west of Indianapolis, Indiana. Lake Land College is also geographically close to four major Illinois Universities, including the University of Illinois, Eastern Illinois University, Southern Illinois University, and Illinois State University.
Lake Land College is a comprehensive community college offering a broad range of programs. Lake Land offers transfer degrees, allowing students to complete their first two years of college-level coursework at Lake Land before continuing their education at a four-year college or university. Credits earned in the transfer programs are transferable to most four year colleges and universities. Lake Land also offers certificate programs and degrees, which allow students to directly prepare for the workplace.
