I enjoy being outdoors by camping, boating, and gardening.
Currently teaching: Bio-Science I (BIO 100), Biotechnology in Society (BIO 150), and Introduction to Genetics (BIO 160)
Also taught: Natural Science (BIO 120) and Concepts of Chemistry (CHM 111)
I enjoy teaching at Lake Land College, because it allows me the opportunity to help students apply the biological science content they learn in class to their everyday life.
I love all aspects of science. However, in the biological sciences, my favorite areas are genetics and biotechnology. I am also involved in consulting and writing for various textbook publishing companies.
I have been involved in coaching for softball and cheerleading. I also have been involved in my church.
